Hi! I am a stand-up comedian, polyglot and giant nerd.Originally from the US, I started stand-up in Bangkok in 2019 after taking my first-ever Tinder date to my first-ever comedy show where I realized – I needed more laughter in my life.Since then, I've performed in 25+ countries in 7 languages where I talk about 15+ years of living abroad in Southeast Asia and trying to make my way in a world that is convinced I am a librarian (I'm not but I can see how you got the idea). My style has been described as "a breath of fresh air" where frenetic energy meets clean, smart jokes. I avoid dark topics and mature content, leaning into whimsy and absurdity.
If we met on the street, I would be happy to chat with you in English, Spanish, French, Thai, Indonesian, Japanese or Italian. Please expect levels of proficiency that vary on a minute-by-minute basis depending how much I’ve slept, which language I spoke last, and which phase of the moon we’re in. Most hyperpolyglots can’t speak all their languages perfectly all the time. Neither can I!Proficiency is a spectrum, fluency is a lie and mistakes are usually VERY funny.I have studied (but not mastered) Burmese, Mongolian, Visayan and dabbled in Lao, Malaysian, German and Bulgarian. I can order lots of cheese in Albanian and once taught myself to read Korean on a boat at 2am

Ever accidentally told a colleague that you liked her tiger? "MISTRANSLATED: How to (badly) learn a language" is an interactive comedy experience that celebrates the hilarity of language failure. I share my WORST language mistakes, and ask you to share yours. In the words of audience -"She'll have you laughing in languages you didn't even know you understood.""I still don't believe she doesn't work for the CIA."The show has toured Southeast Asia, launched the 2025 Tallinn Fringe and in 2026 will appear at the Manchester and Edinburgh Fringes and cities around Europe.
Sometimes when showrunners bring me onstage, they say I speak a dozen languages. Or eighty. Don’t believe them! They are auditioning to be my hype person. A job which – to my knowledge – no one has ever been hired for.

Sometimes I travel to places where there is no comedy scene. So I hold workshops to teach new comedians from scratch, and organize pop-up shows for stand-up and improv comedy. I believe anyone can do comedy and this art form is a critical way to claim your voice. Contact me to collaborate on organizing a workshop or pop-up show.
